Preparing for Your First Visit
Your first visit to Windom Allergy will include a thorough medical evaluation by your physician. After the evaluation, you may be asked to return for skin testing, basic breathing tests, blood tests, or x-rays. Depending on the severity of your condition, you may also require follow up visits with your physician.
Windom Allergy office policy is to request payment at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept a variety of insurance providers and payment options.

Skin Testing
5 days prior to testing do not take the following medications:

Clarinex
Claritin

2 days prior to testing do not take the following antihistamines:
Benadryl
Nyquil
Tylenol PM
Other over-the-counter Cold, Allergy, or Nighttime medications
Spirometry (Breathing Test)
12 hours prior to testing do not take the following long-acting inhalers:
Advair
Dulera
Foradil
Serevent
Symbicort
6 hours prior to testing do not take the following short-acting bronchodilators:
Albuterol
Maxair
Proair
Proventil
Ventolin
Xopenex
Rhinoscopy
